3 countries, 6 innovative business ideas, 25 students from 9 universities and 13 different nationalities.
The 4th trinational KTUR Summer School on Entrepreneurship took place in the Upper Rhine region last week of August – and what an inspiring week it was! Two days at University of Freiburg in Freiburg, two days at Universität Straßburg in Strasbourg and one day at FHNWbusiness in Basel.
Great business ideas, super motivated participants and an overall good atmosphere made this week a great experience (also for the organizers, entrepreneurs and lecturers: Frauke Lorenzen, Mahmoud Al-Kilani, Sven Küspert, René Hoffmann, Hugo Spiess, Lucie Ardourel, Alexander Tittel, Noémie Jelly, PhD, Michele Matt). We would like to thank everyone who got involved!
The founders and lecturers of this week came from all three countries involved in the KTUR project and created a great link between theoretical input and application with their practice-oriented insights. Working on the project ideas as a team throughout the week resulted in six successful pitches.
But the evening program was also impressive! Guided tours through Uniseum and “Karzer” (student prison) on Monday in Freiburg, a visit to the Palais Universitaire in Strasbourg followed by a meal of tarte flambée and the finale in Basel, with a drink and then a swim in the Rhine!
A big thank you also goes to our sponsors in Freiburg, who made the event possible in the first place!
FWTM: Big thank you to the Freiburg business development agency and overall to Hanna Böhme, Michael Richter and Nikolai Sexauer who jumped in and cherish the trinational idea of the KTUR project.
Foundersclub Freiburg: Thanks to the students initiative that always supports us to spread out the idea of entrepreneurship minds.
With the learnings from this edition, we will soon start planning the 5th Summer School – this time in the framework of KTUR².
Thank you for the great feedback:
